Infrastructure
The infrastructure is for the use of all owners within the residence
Ringroad
Our ringroad within is a private road. There is very limited traffic due to the size of the residency and the limited number of villas. For long life the road has been constructed as a concrete road and is only 4 m wide. We want to avoid heat collection.
Ringwall
The ring wall is protecting the villas and central areas mainly from stray dogs and other animals. The wall will hardly be seen as we use plants to cover it. The wall is 1.5 m high and build solid with concrete and iron footings.
Flood water protection
The drainage system along the road prevents flooding even after heavy rainfall. The widest duct diameter is 1.20 m.!
Water supply
We draw water from the public water supply. In order to prevent shortage during supply problems we have built a underground reservoir of 100,000 l capacity. We use our own pumping station to provide enough water pressure and we clean the public water initially with own filtering equipment.
The individual villas have no separate water tanks in order to avoid bad water if owner is not present for some time. Due to central filtering additional filters are not needed in the house except in cases where one wants to have drinking quality (UV-treatment).
Power supply
We are supplied by the PEA (Provincial electricity authority) with high power which is lead to our own transformer (1000 Kva). The line to the transformer is overhead and from there unvisible in underground power lines to the villas. We have incurred additional costs for underground electrical cables but it is worth it.
Telephone
In the underground ducting we have the phone cables for each villa, giving access to fixnet.
Internet
Each house has access to internet lines.
TV
Cable TV or satelite TV with Pay-TV programmes.
Surveillance cameras
The area is for security reasons equipped with surveillance cams.
Waste water
The waste water is collected in bio septic tanks and the overflow treated in a additional septic tank for purification.
Garbage collection
The garbage collection is organised by Bluehill against a small fee.
